Paul Cochran, a school teacher and basketball coach at Happy Valley High School in Carter County, Tennessee was hitch-hiking from Johnson City to the Charlotte Coleseum in Charlotte, North Carolina to attend a Rock & Roll show. The show was posting recording artists Bill Haley & The Comets, Frankie Lyman & The Teenagers, Bo Diddley, Clyde McPhatter, The Drifters, The Teen Queens, Lavern Bauer and Big Joe Turner all being backed by Red Prysock & His Orchestra.
Little did Paul know that his life was about to take a change in a new direction or the impact that he would have on the up and coming music everyone was turning on to. This new sound everyone was calling .......
